Great News!

I had my first consultation with my surgeon. It appears my insurance covers the procedure with no time constraints. The surgeon would want to go through some test either way which is fine with me.

The test I will be going through are:

  • Barium Swallow
  • Stress Test
  • sleep Disorder Study
  • Exercise Consult
  • Psychological Eval.

The surgery will be scheduled for 3 weeks after these test are complete.

I estimate I should have everything complete by end of November or begining of December.

Could be due to my BMI being so high, or my other co-morbidities, don't really know, but I'm glad it's working out.

 I hear ya buddy! Good Luck.

I just got an appt for my consult (sept 26) Yay! So I got the ball rolling anyhow!!

Congrats and good luck on your journey
