Shrinking Violets - Part 5!

Here you go, my Sweet Violets! Another new home for our daily musings....

"Thus nature has no love for solitude, and always leans, as it were, on some support; and the sweetest support is found in the most intimate friendship."

Haydee, miralax, good stuff, but I know nothing about it and pregnancy, so ask your ob first.....

Loved the pics!!!!

Didn't all of us including Juan take a pic on the steps of the house?

Nose is sooo clogged up today!!

Oh well, off to fix dinner.

Oh and by the way, slept very well last night! Too well, set all kinds of records for sleeping the longest, latest, etc...., but I did have strange dreams I need to learn how to play golf?

Uhm... got a new countdown for you Judy, in case you weren't busy enough with all the others.. Due 2/14/11! <3

WOW...congrats Laura.....and Russ and Carson=he's gonna be a big brudder.....how exciting!!!!

OMG, President Obama is in Kalamazoo to congratulate the seniors who are graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School. He shook all their hands and gave them a hug, how thrilling is that for the school. They won the chance of thousands of schools all over. President said he wants this to happen every year, to pick a top high school every year for each president to be a guest speaker, not college, high school. Our streets downtown are shut down and security was high here. Weather was beautiful. Oh well, WW tomorrow, I don't think I did quite as good as I wanted.

YEAH!!! BABY VIOLETS EVERYWHERE!!

Congrats...can't wait!! xooxox

Oh my goodness -- what great news, Laura! A Valentine's baby!!

It's going to take Judy all day each day to count down everything going on around here... 2 babies, the Cali trip, her knee surgery... ay yai yai!!

Keeping her in business!!!

I've got that ridiculous tight band that I had last time, my tell-tale sign. I'm so hungry but nothing goes down. I already knew for number 2 I wouldn't get an unfill, cause it passed after a couple weeks and on packed the pounds. Going to tough it out with vitamins, broth, grits, and whatever else I can squeeze in.

I don't think so, this is a shock actually, I've been tryin to test ovulation for 2 months with no positive result.

According to my last period etc. etc.. I conceived on May 25.

Edit, I know I wasn't, I was on my period in Houston!!

Wooo hooooo!! A Valentine Violet!!! Thanks for the text, PamELa.. I couldn't respond cause I was driving.

According to the scale there, Bob lost 6# and I lost 7#. I was disappointed it wasn't the 10# WW says, but I'll take whatever. I'm going to weigh in at WW on Friday.

Long day and I'm one pooped puppy. Everyone have a great night. Sleep well.

congrats Judy and Bob!! Are you going back for an unfill?

Laura, I remember you saying that you could do it in such a way that you could predict a girl, but if this was a surprise? Are you back to 50/50?

Good morning!

Early meeting day.

Ooooh my favorite!! Early morning!!

I loved looking at pics yesterday!! I was glad I was off and had the opportunity. 641 love in its purest form.

Congrats again to Haydee and Laura!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, Violets..

Off to Kris's for the day. Took me awhile to get all the countdowns done!!

Everyone have a great day!!

And yes, Janie.. I have to go for an unfill just before surgery.

congrats Judy and Bob!! Are you going back for an unfill?

Laura, I remember you saying that you could do it in such a way that you could predict a girl, but if this was a surprise? Are you back to 50/50?

I'm fuzzy on the details, there was that calculator I posted on here a while back that said if you're a normal cycle woman, based on your whatever, these are the dates you should do things to increase chance of a girl. We still did that, even though the ovulation kits never said I was ovulating (using those, when they finally say postive you will ovulate in the next 24-48 hours). Anyway, so it's still 50/50 no matter what, we did try things to 'increase' the chance of a girl, but since I have no idea when I ovulated, there's just no telling. Happy either way!!!!

I had to text my mom, she's in the bahamas and the phone calls don't go through. I tried sending her a pic of the test, didn't work.. so I texted her 'Izzy is here!!' and she goes "REALLY?!?!? You know it's Izzy already?!" LOL.

You don't find out till 5m, like I would have been able to keep it a secret that long.

I tested by accident, I was doing my ovulation test thing, and it comes with 1 free pregnancy test, so I opened the wrong one.. figured since it was already open I'd do both. And there it was. I told Russ it can't be right, if I didn't MEAN to take a pregnancy test, it can't tell me I'm pregnant!! So I took a couple more tests, all positive, so now I guess I'll believe it.
