my labs show my WBC count is 11.5! Hoping this will not cancel/postpone my surgery on Friday!

What did your doctor have to say about the number? Increased WBC can be a sign of infection, among other things. Overall, it's just outside the high end of normal (around 10). I don't think it would make that big of a difference if you have no other issues going on but call your doc to reassure yourself

I had WBC a week before my surgery, my dr still went ahead and had me come in for surgery and just retook my blood again before surgery and it was back to normal. Your dr should prob do the same thing from what I found out doing research when I got my results.

I've had a white blood count like that, and actually it's not terrible. I would not worry to much about that.
