Yikes !! Surgery date in 2 weeks

Just found out today that I am getting banded on the 15th Sept, less than two weeks away. A cancellation came in while I was at the hospital.

I have to start my diet tomorrow. I am scared stiff but at least I will only have two weeks of being like this and not worrying about it for months.

Now the big question is:

What shall I stuff my face with tonight for one big last meal ?:w00t: :)

I chose Mexican Food for my last meal! It was good too!! Don't be nervious it will be over before you know it. Be sure to buy the food you will need when you get home from the hospital, so you will have it.

I settled on a big steak, loads of beers and a big fat creamy cake

Now for my new life !

Thanks for the tip about planning my food when I get home for the hospital, I will have to make sure I am well prepered.

Glad you enjoyed that big steak and the cake was a good ending. I should have had some cake!!! After I was banded we had 3 Birthday parties in that month and 2 in August, that was a lot of cake to pass up. But I did. Do you have family that are supportive of the surgery? That always helps. I know this sound “girly” but also be sure to take a pillow with you for the ride home (bumps) to hold against your tummy in the car and when you are walking, it really does help. I walked with mine for 3 days when I did my 30 minutes walk.
