it might be, I know it is on a regular bed cause fittness lady at the rehabilitation center in the hospital said I could do them on the bed if the floor hurts my back too much but I'm only 3 weeks and 3days post op and she told me way back before pre op I can't do crunches or sit ups til 6 weeks post op but try it (: if it doesn't work try getting a comfy floor mat

I just spoke with my Exercise Physiologist and he said yes, doing crunches on a Water bed is just as effective as doing them on a regular bed, bench, or floor. Finally I have found a way to do crunches without crying from pain after I am finished.:biggrin::thumbup::ohmy::crying:
