Hi,

As soon as I was able to start exercising I did. I started with walking the mall, one lap then two and so on. I then joined the gym with my daughter last February. I tried doing different classes to see how liked them, but decided the tread mill was the best for me. I do the FAT burn program for 45 min. and usually burn about 450 calories. I then maybe 3 times a week add in weights, depending on my time.

I love the gym, I like going with my daughter, even if we might be doing different work outs.

Keep it up!

Hi

I've been banded a week today, I plan on hitting the gym next week just for light cardio. I'll get into weights etc in about 6 weeks.

I go 5 days a week. 40 mins. of Cardio a day and 4 times a week (2 days upper/2 days lower) body with the weight machines. In addition I do 2 60 mins. long water aerobics classes a week. I work one on one with a trainer and love every minute of it!

i went lastnight.. it was good.. i only did cardio... which was fine to start... nine miles on the bike... took about 25 min... it was great.. going again this morning... hopefully the pounds will shed shed shed now!

Hola People...today was my first day Post-op at the gym and man am I in pain !! All the tolerance I had built up pre-op on the eliptical machine went down the tubes.I did 30mins on the treadmill with a WL program. Hope to get back on the elliptical by weeks end. Still havent started the weights, think its best to weight to completely heal.

Well my goal is to start 3 days a week and go from there.

I was walking 35 min. the day after surgery. I walk everyday. I am ready for fall so it won't be so hot.

so far i have gone everyday this week..and i am about to leave right now... i think ill take the weekend off. :w00t:

Good Job MommyX2!

Don't burn your self out! Having one "cheat night" is always a good thing, it gets you through the whole rest of the week. I go out every Friday night with my husband "Date Night" and have a drink and usually share a meal. I am always aware of what we choose and make sure its not too bad, then I know just what I need to do at the gym the next day!

Have fun, this is a great thing we have done for ourselves.

Hi was thinking of getting a trainer. What does your trainer have you doing?
