carbonation?

I'm not sure what is soo bad about carbonation in pop and beer. I've heard a couple stories. Can someone tell me why exactly we're not supossed to have pop (or soda) or beer or other alcohol?

Whether you can have carbonated beverages depends on several things...your surgeon, how well you tolerate them, and how far out you are from surgery.

I have been told that many people don't process the gas very well and it can be painful and stretch out your pouch.

OMG the gas is awful. My pouch swells and it hurts when I try to drink soda. UGH! Best to avoid it........
