Hot Flash

I am 8 days post-op and so far so good. One thing, however, is really troubling. Does anyone get hot flashes after surgery? I'm only 32, so I'm pretty sure it's not pre-menapause (and I never had it happen before surgery), but if I'm running around and maybe a bit stressed, once I stop, I start sweating buckets...I mean buckets. After I settle down, I go back to normal and sometimes even get cold, but the hot flash stage is really annoying and messes up my makeup!! Anyone else?

I had breast reduction surgery last summer and had many hot flashes the month after surgery. I blamed it on menapause too, but then they stopped. After months with no hot flashes, I realized it must have been the surgery.

i'm 9 days out and i've had several hot flash episodes i can recall since surg. i've never experienced them either but they are not pleasant one bit. now i know why my mother was so miserable. :)
