2 days out

Everything is going really well I do not really have too much pain just pain around the port. My doctor only made one incision and then the port site. Anyways I have been burping alot! I have gas which I expected but burping? Is this possibly the release of the leftover gas in my abdomen. Just curious I like to know what others experienced so I can be on the lookout so I don't freak out!! And now I can sit up which is so nice and no pain meds heaven!!

Burping (and what comes out the other end) is what we do to get rid of gas in our digestive tract, so that's normal! :juggle:

Glad to hear you are doing so well:) Sounds like everything is going great! Keep burping;)

I'm 4 days out from surgery and have been burping like a truck driver! No offense to any truckers in here :-) It is very uncomfortable at first. Sometimes I feel like I need to have someone burp me like you would a baby LOL
