Hello, I'm 27 yrs old and i gained so much weight over the last 6yrs. In two weeks I am going to meet with the doctor to discuss the lapband. I have a coworker who did in May and she already lost 30 pounds I cant wait. I think this will be the decison I made in years. Wish me on 8/10/09:smile2:

Jenny, Good for you. Just remember to write down any questions you have for your doctor before you go so you don't forget to ask when you get in the appointment. I always make a list to ask because I always seem to miss a question or two and then think of it later when I can't talk to the doctor. Hope you are able to meet the date you want. Good Luck!

Good luck! It's a great tool! Sometimes I think of my weight loss in terms of years (i.e. years of damage I did by gaining so much weight). I'm pretty much back in 2004 at this point! :biggrin:
