Clear liquids and Calories???

Did you all have any guidelines for your post-op diet? How many calories you should try to stick to? I am on clear liquids for 4 more days. I am wondering am I getting enough calories. I only had about 300 yesterday. Should i try to aim for more? What have you all been doing?

I was told 800 calories.

I've used 1000 calories as my guideline through all stages since my surgery. Works well for me.

You should ask your surgeon's office about your post-op diet. Most have strict guidelines that should be followed.

I'm supposed to be eating around 600-800 calories per day. Less than most people here, I think.

Even on liquids I was on 1200 cals. It was sooooo difficult to get that through liquids. I got some organic juice that was sugar free but high in cals. That helped. I prob. stuck more to 600-800 cals. My nutitionists was not happy
