totally uncomfortable

Ever since surgery I cant get comfortable sitting. My back feels so uncomfortable like it has a catch. I dont know if it has anything to do with surgery but it is so annoying. I am constantly twisting and turning trying to find a way to sit. Driving is so bad too! Anyone else?

I have had similar issues with my back. I think because I have been trying so hard not to hurt my front (incisions and port site) that I have hurt my back in the process.

I have been using a heating pad on my back when I am sitting and it helps. You could also try one of those adhesive heat wrap pads for work. I have also been doing some walking periodically, just to stretch out those muscles somewhat.

Good luck to you!

Thanks Amy,

I thought it may have something to do with sleeping in different positions. I think I need to do some back strengthening excercises. I will definitely mention this to my doc when I follow up.
