Happy Sunday Everyone!

My name is Laurie; I am a teacher from Michigan and am being banded on August 3 at Hurley Bariatric Center in Flint, Michigan. I have passed all the hurtles but one- pre op testing on July 15th. I started my liquid diet today- 4 weeks pre, 2 weeks post. I am looking forward to gaining a lot of knowledge and losing a lot of the weight!

Hello Laurie, welcome to the boards. Lots of info here and it goes both ways, good and bad.

Take care of yourself and don't worry. Do what your doctor says and everything should be alright.

I was just banded on 7-2-09 and I'm still on the liquid phase, but I'm not hungry and seem to be doing alright. I'm still sore, but it seems taking it easy really helps.
