Port Pain

New here... first post...

I was banded in Feb. of this year. Have been doing well, getting fills, losing weight etc. After the last fill in May (up to 6.3 cc) I had discomfort around port site but it subsided after a couple of days. One month later had same discomfort but no fill. Again subsided - thought it might be because of monthly. But yesterday pain and discomfort started again. It feels like after surgery where the muscles were really sore. I have been exercising a lot and have lost about 6 inches from waist since surgery. Also, I can tell that my port is now located about 2 inches from where it was initially placed. Is this normal? Anyone know what is going on? I live in Kansas but surgeon is in Dallas, don't want to drive down if not necessary.

I definitely do not think that it is normal. Call your surgeon just to be safe. I hope everything works out, good luck!
