June 13, 200917 yr I was never told I had to sleep a certain way. I sleep on my side, but I use a body pillow. I don't see what it would hurt, other than the incisions.
June 13, 200917 yr I'm a stomach sleeper too, banded 6/9. It is still too uncomfortable to sleep on my stomach, but as soon as I'm able to I will be.
June 13, 200917 yr I was banded on 3/6. I sleep on my stomach all the time. I started sleeping on it about 3-4 days post-op. I have no problems.
June 13, 200917 yr I was banded 6/11 (2 days ago) and I slept half on my stomach with a pillow tucked under me. I was so happy it felt fine cuz I sleep better on my tummy. For me the only thing the was a little ruff was actually getting in the position but then I stayed there for hours. Good luck.
June 13, 200917 yr It took me a while just to start sleeping on my side. ): I think it all depends on how you feel.
