I was banded on Monday this week (8th June 09) and from the minute I came back from sugery to now, my throat is incredibly sore... which I expected from being intubated...
However, the dangly thing in my throat is completely white now, as is my tongue, and I have the most awful taste in my mouth all day. Have I got some secondary infection perhaps?
Other than that, my banding was all a very positive experience, apart from the nausea and wooziness from the anesthetic, I've been fine, and coping great on mushy food. I went onto mushy from liquisised after 2 days cos I was permenantly starving. Now I am full after my 5 spoon fulls of mushy food.:smile2:
