New Tonight

Hello, I am new tonight. I was banded on March 16, 2009 by Dr Voung; I am sure you have seen his threads. I am 8 weeks out tomorrow and have lost 40 pounds. I just had my first fill last Tuesday.

Wow 40 lbs that is great. I am calling my dr tomorrow to get set up with someone to see about getting the lap-band myself. I am scared, but nothing is working for me and im just sick of it and want to loose weight very badly. I have a question after your first appointment what happens? Do you have to have counsling and all that for like 4 months. I heard you go through this with gastric and was wondering if the same with the band.
