staples out today

well i m on my 8th day post op and feeling great. Got my staples out today, lost 6 lbs past week so Im ready to move into exercise mode and make the best out of the band I can. I m now on phase 2,blended/pureed till day 14 and so far i think i will do good on this phase. Today I had a banana, mashed potatoes w chopped spinach topped with canned fat free beef gravy and to me it tasted great . If anyone has any tips for this phase please post. Thanks and good luck.

Staples???

My surgery is next week and no one said anything to me about staples. :scared2:

I have had staples before and have not had any good experiences. They had to restitch every time because removing the staples tore me up.

maybe when u had the stapples out the last time it was to early. They came right out as the doctor was talking to me while he removed them I didn t even know he was finished,I had no problem at all with them. Its no worry at all they will not be a problem especially when the reward is so great.

STAPLES? WHERE?The prize is bigger but I really didn't hear about staples.

I didn't have staples either. Ask your surgeon first.
