So my surgeon submitted the letter on Wednesday, and I was approved today!

i have pacificare HMO, but the medical network is Adoc-Fountain Valley. they are the ones that made all the decisions and moved so fast! i love them.

I have Aetna and will have my last meeting pre surgery with my doctor. I hope to have an answer by the end of May and my surgery early June!!!!! I am very nervous about my insurance.

Great news! I just got approved this week and when I rec'd the call, I was so excited.

I have an amazing surgeons office, my primary Dr told me that people travel from all over the world to have Dr. Leport as their Dr.

I am actually going to have Dr. Kelly Francis do my lapband, she was the first one under Dr. Leports supervision that started doing Lapbands. she is awesome.

ANyway, her surgeries are about 6 weeks out right now.

SO if I schedule it next week sometime I will probably be doing it from mid to late June.

Im cool with that though cause I dont have that much vacation time accrued so by then I will have more and wont be missing out on any time.
