Most of us know just how you feel. Just take it one day at at time. It will get better when you reach the mushie stage and better at every stage after that. Before too long this will all be a distant memory and you will be saying that it was all worth it.

Till then, take in as much liquid Protein as you can handle and keep busy.

This is the worst part of getting the band done, like it was said before take it day by day, and keep yourself really busy doing things that do not invole eating or food. Good luck hun.

Hey Abbie, Hang in there...soon there will be real food to eat and it will make a big difference. I am looking forward to mushies. Anytime that I am feeling hungry I just up the protein and that seems to help. Also warm broth. I know it's probably not much consolation, but just hang in there. We will make it through!

I don't know if it's cause it's that time of month, but I was banded Friday (04/17), my cycle is due the end of this week and I want all bad stuff to eat. One day at time or should I say one shake at a time....
