It took me 6 fills and a total of 10.4cc in my 14cc band to feel restriction, so hang in there :rolleyes2:

Hello, I was banded on 2/13/2009, my first fill was on 3/13/2009...and I can not feel a difference! This is my first time seeing this web site but it makes me feel a little better to know that others are having the same issue. I have a 14cc band, and currently have 6cc in my band. I have ONLY lost 13 lbs in 2 months. :rolleyes2:

I'm in the same boat, but now it is hard for me to get a fill. My doc had to do mine at the hospital under fluoro (at a charge of $450, which now the hospital is trying to charge me $1000 for!). I had no more restriction from it and am now eating more because I'm depressed about the band not working! Also worried that my fill in his office next week won't work because he said that my port is tilted and moves when he tries to inject the saline. Urrggh! Just frustrated!

I was wondering! Now I dont feel so bad... Jan 09 band and only 15 lbs gone. 2nd fill 2 weeks ago and nothing yet. I feel little if no restriction. I dont crush pills or worry about any foods in particular. I was beginning to wonder if the thing came undone or what!

I was searching the website for people going through this too. I have been filled three times and still can eat alot. have only lost 3 pounds since the surgery, its very depressing. I feel some restriction but nothing like I thought I would. I can still eat a 6 inch from subway
