I'm new

Going to the seminar on the 20th. I want this so bad. I have been over weight since I was a teenager. I'm 5 3 and I weigh 220. I have lost weight in the past but gained it back and then some.

Hi Teri,

I was just banded 2 days ago and I now exactly what you mean. I have been up and down with my weight for as long as I can remember...after having my son I decided that I should mae the change. I'm 5'1 and 230lbs. that's too much weight on my petite frame...When do you plan on having the surgery?

I have no clue yet. I have not talk to the doc yet, I hope to talk to the doc soon. I need to lose this weight. I have three kids and have not got to get down to where I was before I had my boys.

congrats to both of you, and well wishes for a happier and healthier future.

well i had my surgery about 2 years ago and let me tell you i think it's the best decision i could had ever done in my life, i was also 230lbs and 5'2. i'm now 165lbs and off all meds. i was on high blood pressure med. and got off just a month after surgery, my weight loss has been slow but steady. i think you too would be happy once you get this done and get to your goal weight. gotta tell you it's not easy but if you put your mind and effort it's very effective.

good luck to both and god blees you!

way to go kaybritt!:sneaky: You seem like you are doing great! Keep up the good work!
