back pain

Hello,

I was banded this past Tuesday and while I'm feeling generally ok I did develop some lower back pain today. Did any of you experience this? If so do I need to see my doctor?

Yes, I've had the back pain as well after the surgery. It was the gas pain. You should keep walking from room to room and take some Gas-X to help relieving it.

Hi! I have not been banded yet but will be at the end of this month! As far as the back pain goes Ive read that gas for sure can be a problem. BUT also your body is changing at a rapid pace. Your body has been carrying that weight around and it is very hard on your spine now you are causing rapid changes. I sugest getting a chiropractor! ( not only because I am one!) They revolve around health wellness and keeping your body and optimum health level. Keeping your body and spine functioning and your nervous system fuctioning to heal from the surgery and keep your weightloss happening as quick as possible! if you have any other questions about it just let me know. Or if you want to discuss certain symtoms you have going on i would be glad to help anyway I can !!!!!
