I just got back from the doctor's - my pre-op. My PCP said my EKG was a little abnormal so she wants me to go in for an echocardiogram. :scared2:. Has anyone ran into this problem? She knows it's a small heart murmur but wants to have it checked out. I'll be so sad if I cannot have my surgery on the 16th. But I guess it's better than something bad happening during surgery. Hopefully the echocardiogram comes out ok.

It is good to know this now instead of having trouble during surgery. A lot of people have small heart murmurs and don't even know it. You will most likely have an echocardiogram and make sure all is "flowing" normally. Try and not be discouraged or scared. It'll be okay. Positive thoughts going your way.
