Greetings to you!!! I was banded on March 3rd. I've lost 15 pounds in two weeks. I hope you enjoy your journey. I began my journey in April of 2008. I was going for the bypass but due to health issues I got the lapband. So far so good. Did you find out about your insurance? Does it cover it? If you have any questions, please let me know! We are here for you! Much love!

Hi!!! Congrats on your successes! :tongue_smilie: I also was considering gastric bypass. It just seemed too invasive & reconstructive for me. When I learned about the Lap Band, I was intrigued! Yep, I contacted my insurance-- aside from the general criteria (all of which I meet) - it'll be a $350 copay at the hospital. I dont think thats much at all.... considering Ive paid the same amount to Weight Watchers .... more than once. Im excited to really get the ball rolling!
