Good luck! I had my surgery on 2/20/09. Cigna took over 1 yr to approve me. I was denied last summer. Then was approved on 2/11/09. You have to follow all of "their rules". GOOD LUCK.

I have heard how hard it is to get an approval from Cigna, i actually work for them as well haha as a Disability Claims Manager. I sent them 5 years of medical records hoping this will be enough to approve me. I have type 2 Diabetes, High Bloodpressure and Cholesterol and my BMI is 41, i hope this will be enough for them to see that im a qualified candidate for this procedure, i really dont want to finance $16k, too much money even though its worth every penny, but im crossing my fingers that i will get approved.:tongue_smilie:
