Hello

Hello all, I am new to the site, but very excited to be on a site where everyone is either going through the same thing or has had the procedure done. I have been trying for 2 years to have my lap band done and my insurance approved it about a week ago I am going to have the surgery done on March 30, and I need to start my liquid diet on the 16th of March. Can some of you give me feed back on the two week before surgery of the total liquid diet was it hard?

Hi there, Congrats on having your surgery soon. I will have mine Weds, and because they scheduled it so soon, I won't be on the liquid diet for long. I have been on the pre-op liquid diet for 3 days now. :) Its no fun, lol. liquid goes in liquid goes out. My stomach is constantly rumbling. I'm basically eating slimfast, jello, broth, diet coke, water and Propel. I have gotten alittle light headed a few times, so if any one can help us, it would be apprecieated!
