Newly banded - 2/13/09

Hi Everyone. I was banded on 2/13/09 in Fairfax, VA. I went to www.ALAGSA.com. My doctor was Dr. Eleariny. I live in Southern Maryland. I am 37 years old, married with 2 children. I want to be healthy and to be able to enjoy my children and someday - grandchildren. My starting weight was 226pds. My current goal weight is 160pds.

Looking forward to meeting new friends for support throughout my process.

Thanks - Karen

Welcome to LapBandTalk!

My mom lives in Fairfax. Well, Oak Hills really. I heard Dr. Eleariny is great. One of my friends go her DS from him.

So how are you doing so far I was just banded on 2/26/09. and so far so good.

Doing great so far. To date, I have lost 16 pounds. I do feel as if my portions are bigger than they should be, but I am being very good about my food choices. Looking forward to my first fill and am starting to exercise this week.

How about you?

Karen
