AMAZING Protein Powder!
I will have to try that. I would love to cut the calories. I usually only use 1tbsp which is about 90 calories but feels like I am getting a real treat - so for a Meal Replacement - it isn't too bad. I generally eat about 300 calories per meal. Thanks for telling me about it.

AMAZING Protein Powder!
Just ordered the cappachino flavor and the apple flavor. I will let you guys know how I like it. I too was getting sick of chocolate - but I do put a little bit of peanut butter in mine - that seems to help. It does boost calories but it also increases the protein and makes it more bearable.

When did you go back to work?
I had surgery on Friday and went back to work the following Wednesday full time with NO problems. I do work an office job though. You'll know - listen to your body.

how are the feb banders doing
Hi guys. I was banded on 2/13 and I have lost 18 pds so far. I have felt NO restriction for 2 weeks. But I am trying to maintain small portions and eat according to the plan. I get my first fill on 3/27 which I can't wait. I hope that I feel some restriction then. Great work everyone. Let's keep each other posted on our progress. Karen

Welcome. You have a beautiful family. I was banded on 2/13 and already my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Good luck and if you are looking for a buddy - I will be here. Karen

Question about fills and calories
Hi Everyone. I have a question about fills and calorie consumption. I have read many posts where people say that their weight loss became greater and steadier once they find their sweet spot. My question is - is this the case because you are taking in less calories and less food? Because I have also heard that most people try to keep their calories between 800-1200 calories and that if you go too low on your calories it will slow your weight loss down as well. Hopefully I am clear enough with my question. I am due for my first fill in 2 weeks. Just curious about restriction and calories consumed.

Newly banded - 2/13/09
Doing great so far. To date, I have lost 16 pounds. I do feel as if my portions are bigger than they should be, but I am being very good about my food choices. Looking forward to my first fill and am starting to exercise this week. How about you? Karen
