Hi everyone. I'm new to the lap band family. I am scheduled for surgery on March 25th... i am so excited i can hardly stand myself! I appreciate any encouragement/advice/suggestions you have for me. Thanks!

Hello and welcome!!! Congratulations on getting your surgery date. Your day will be here before you know it. My advice would be to keep coming here, keep reading, and ask any question that comes into your head. There are so many friendly people here that will answer your questions. Reading posts will provide you with lots of information. I spent a lot of time here before my surgery and by the time I was wheeled into the operating room, I wasn't even nervous. I kinda knew what to expect. You always need to follow your doctor's instructions, but this is a great place to come for general information. Good luck to you!!! Becky
