Food Ideas

Hi, i got banded on Feb 2 and was on Clear liquids for 4 dat and now doing full liquids. I had today Cream of Wheat thined in Water. No bad after drinking broth....

What are some other foods which be good at this stage?

I'm surprised your doctor's office didn't provide you with a list of full liquids. Mine did and on my list are non-fat yogurt and sugar free/low fat puddings and jello.

hi dream716 i was banded on january 13th 09.i am 3 weeks post-op. here is a list.

first 2 weeks i lost 19lbs was not hungry at all only was allowed 1/4 cup

full liquids

slimfast

light yogurt

lowfat cream of chicken soup(strained)

sugarfree,lowfat pudding

lowfat cream of mushroom soup(strained)

skim milk

no sugar added carnation instant breakfast made with skim milk.my doctor had me on ensure three times a day. hope this helps.

I know its a little bad, but I had regular low sodium Campbell's Cream of Mushroom today, and it was so good. I am on liquids, just finished week 1 post op.
