I have my surgery date set for 3/3/09 at Oraqnge Coast in F.V. I have been looking at this site for questions that I have. I guess that I'm still in a shock mode that I'm doing this so I have not started to prepare.

What protien driks should I begin to try and what is the best place to buy them.

Only my wife knows about this and plan to keep it that way.

Does anybody have a preferance between the two bands.

Realize band vs. Lap Band

Any help will be great.

My surgery is in a little over two weeks and am a little apprehensive....I too am from FV and only my wife knows as well......

I am having my suregry at St. Joe's in Orange. My doctor's office sell the protien shakes. Since I am lactose intolerant, I am buying mine from this site: Bariatric Advantage - Nutritional supplements, Vitamins, Proteins, and Help for Gastric Bypass, Distal, Lap Band, Realize, Stomaphyx and Duodenal Switch Surgery Patients (just click on the link)

This company is in Irvine. Their Protein shakes are lactose free. They also have other products to buy......

Good luck with your surgery......
