Hello

Just wanted to hello to all. I was banded on 12-19-08 and with the pre-op and the two week post-op so far I have lost 24 pounds thats about a month so far.

    I have been banded 9 months and have lost about 30 lbs. It's very slow. You can do things to speed it up. The new year has been my inspiration. The band is not like by-pass, where you lose the weight very quickly. Some people do though. Good luck.

    Thank You I am gald to be in band land. Loving every minute of it. This morning on the 21th day of Jan 2009 I weighed and I have lost 46 pounds in 2 months. I know thats a little fast but I am getting more and more used to just eating smaller portions.
