Hello everyone

I am scheduled for surgery on Jan 13 . Although the pre op liquid food replacement is causing me a bit of difficulty, I look forward to the end results. I've been overweight all my life and although I have lost weight before, I've not ever been able to keep it off. I'm hoping this is the right choice for me.

Welcome to LapBandTalk and Happy New Year!

Welcome Thalia! The pre op diet is hell but your goal of your operation is in sight so stick with it.

I was banded on 6 November and have lost lots of weight already- I don't regret being banded for one second.

Very best of luck for your operation.

Sue

I'm also having the band done on the 13th. I have wanted to do this for awhile and now I'm so scared. I don't want to fail. I wish you the best of luck!!!
