hair loss

hi i was wondering if anyone else has suffered from this and found good solution, i was banded in june and over the last 3 weeks have started to lose loads of hair, i keep finding it everywhere! its starting to freak me out, so i'm going to make a concious effort to get the protein in and have started taking omega 3,6,9 (and daily multivitamins i've taken since op) i know up until a week ago my protein levels had dropped, but i can't handle protein shakes and now my stomach turns at the bars, any thoughts or ideas would be gratefully recieved:blush:

Hi, I too had significant hairloss that started about 6 months after my surgery. It was so bad that I could see my scalp in certain places and I was in panic mode. The doctor suggested I up my protein a little and make sure I was taking enough biotin along with my multi vitamin and calcium. After that I went to my hairdresser and she did a hot oil treatment once a month for 3 months. I am now back with a full head of hair . Be patient and diligent. It will stop, it is just your bodies way of showing that it is shocked by your weight loss.
