new here! Im having a band after bypass

:wub:Hi out there,

I am getting ready to have a lap band on jan 8th . i had a gastric bypass in 2004 and lost 50 lbs in about a year. since then i had 2 babies and kept some weight from each of them and i noticed it was creeping up again. my pre surgery heaviest weight was 245. i am almost back there and really frustrated, upset and feel like i failed myself. Has anyone had a lapband after gastric bypass?? ps i was surprised the insurance co. approved it.

Hi Barbs and welcome38gk.gif

I am sure there are probably people here that have had the band after bypass, but I can't think of any off the top of my head.

I am glad the insurance company approved your surgery. Let us know if you have any questions.
