That depends on the brand, type (pre made or powder)

I buy mine from Wal mart $15.00 52 g protein powder form flavor cookies and cream. I also buy EAS premade drinks 4 for $5.00

I used Slim Fast - Low Carb & found them at a very reasonable price on Amazon.com with free shipping. The shakes can get a bit boring, but I have blended them with ice & added extracts on occassion (orange or coconut) a piece of banana, spoon full of peanut butter & I have heard of adding instant coffee, but haven't tried it yet.

Go to Costco. They are affordable. and have a lot of protien.

I've been using several options: Carnation Instatnt Breakfast sugar-free, Boost Glucose Control, Slim Fast Optima or Glucerna. I had coupons for most of these. You can register on their websites and they'll send them to you in the mail!

I'm adding yogurt or skim milk, ice. My pre-op diet includes raw vegetables (carrots and celery) twice a day. I've added these for my morning shake. Put it in the Magic Bullet...never taste it!! I've also added a dash of vanilla extract, splenda/equal/sweet & low and lite pancake syrup.

I prefer EAS advantage (advantage because its lower cals than regular EAS) - my fav flavor is choc fudge.

I find Walmart has these for the cheapest I've found.
