hey from birmingham, AL

hey ya'll! i think this is a great idea! i'm looking forward to posting and reading. i'm being banded by Dr. Rumbaut in Monterrey on 8/5/03. i haven't been sleeping......so excited. i would be happy to lose 100 lbs, but would prefer to lose 120. i have gained about 10 lbs per year for the last dozen years and have tried it all (to lose the weight). i'm 35 and not willing to spend another year fat and hating myself (or fighting an insurance company). KOWABUNGA!!!!

Goodluck Wendy with your upcoming surgery. I too hope to loose about 100lbs. And I think it will be possible because I see so many members here that have done it.
