I was banded by Dr. Rumbaut (Mexico) one month ago and am looking for a fill doc nearby. I know the only one in Alabama right now is Dr. Caylor in Foley. Does anyone know of others within easy driving distance of Birmingham?

One of my docs said that the gurgling is normal and it's the esophogas getting used to having to work harder.

I'm SO glad there are so many bandsters who aren't afraid to share the nitty-gritty. What's the scar like? I'm hoping that I won't have to have plastic surgery for anything other than a breast lift, but you look MARVELOUS!!! I'm counting down to August 5th and am just in a fog with the idea that I could ACTUALLY be average sized again. It just seems like it's too good to be true. I could ramble on this, but I'll spare everyone. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE PHOTOS!!!! I wish you'd post some new ones on your homepage as well. What's the scar like?

You are so nice to post about fill doc without anyone asking. You emailed this info to me a week or so ago and I haven't called yet. I certainly plan on it since it would MUCH cheaper than a plane ticket back to Monterrey!

hey ya'll! i think this is a great idea! i'm looking forward to posting and reading. i'm being banded by Dr. Rumbaut in Monterrey on 8/5/03. i haven't been sleeping......so excited. i would be happy to lose 100 lbs, but would prefer to lose 120. i have gained about 10 lbs per year for the last dozen years and have tried it all (to lose the weight). i'm 35 and not willing to spend another year fat and hating myself (or fighting an insurance company).
