Anyone have good advice for new Lapband candidates ? I've had all my approvals and waiting for my surgeon to schedule a date. What can I expect.... Thanks..

Congrats on your approval. I would just say go into this knowing it is not a quick fix and you will have to work with the band. Try and relax, and enjoy the excitement of your new life.

Congrats on a the begining of a healthier you. I would recommend reading this forum and reviewing medical research about the procedure you are having.

You can expect it to be a slow process and not a quick fix. But I believe slower is better. I have no regrets so far.
