Hello

I've been reading this site for a while and today decided to sign up and post.

I, like most here have decided to seriously consider the lap band for my weight loss. I just don't know where to start on finding a good doctor, any advise is welcome.

Thanks,

Beebi

Welcome to the board from another newbie! I just signed up today as well. I had a surgeon recommended to me by some family members so I went with that. There are lots of threads here that talk about the different surgeons that people have used. Just do a lot of reading and really check out the surgeon well before you make a decision.

Your insurance or lack of insurance might make a difference on your choices as well. Good luck to you.
