I live in Chattanooga. Who was your surgeon? My surgeon will only do fills every 4 weeks for the first 3 months. You are past that, I would really call for an appointment.

Hey Everyone,

My MD, fills me every 4 weeks but he fills very slow usually 0.5 ml or less each fill which I don't mind, it's been working well

My doc requires 4-6 weeks between fills. Yes you're due, if you have no restriction and it's been over 4 weeks! Your surgeon can give you some guidelines; be sure and ask next time you're in! :)

Hello, I was banded on 9.23.2008 and have had 3 fills to date. I think I'm at 4 to 4.5 ccs in a 10cc band. Still no restriction and I have not lost one pound since surgery. BUT... I have not gained a pound and I have been more aware of what and how I am eating. The veterns have reminded me that this will take time. I have another fill scheduled for 12.8.2008 ~ my fourth. And the 4th fill seems to be the magic number so I have my fingers crossed.

Good Luck and keep us posted!

Hi Everybody

My doctor always says come back in a few weeks if you don't feel you've had enough. I didn't get a fill last visit in October becase I was up to 6.5 cc in my 10 cc band which was in August. I feel the need for more as I can eat a lot more by the end of the day and am very hungry. In the morning can't eat much but that goes away by 2 pm and then I make up the difference. I've only lost 3 lbs since October 8th  but ya know at least its a loss. This is a challenge because its easier to eat the things that slide down easy than it is to eat real food. It is a process that I'm still working on. Good luck and keep on posting. I hav another appt tomorrow and hope to get a "little" fill then. With the holidays coming I'm very anxious about what capacity I'll seem to find...

sharon;)

At first I was getting fills about every 4weeks. Now that I'm past 6months post op I go in every 6 weeks. Don't get discouraged, you'll have disappointing months. Then you'll have wonderful ones! Good luck!
