Self-pay at my doctor is $15,500. Unfortunately my company won't pay for any weight-loss surgery. But it's worth every penny!!

At first I was getting fills about every 4weeks. Now that I'm past 6months post op I go in every 6 weeks. Don't get discouraged, you'll have disappointing months. Then you'll have wonderful ones! Good luck! Band date 4-8-08

Hey there! I told a select group of people. My best friends and my family. Though now I am starting to feel guilty about it now that people are starting to make comments about my weight loss. I kind of feel like a liar even though it was a very personal choice for me, I guess I feel like a lot of people will see me differently and judge me for my decision. Band date 04-08-08

Hi my name is Shannon. I was banded 4-8-08 and had a revision for a flipped port in July. I have lost 52 lbs since post op and hope to keep losing! Through all the trials and tribulations this is the best decision I have ever made for myself!! Keep up the good work everyone!:laugh:
