Before your first appointment did you?

Hey Ladies! :tongue2:

My eating has been way out of control lately! My first appointment is Tuesday the 19th I met with the Dr. and the nutritionist. I haven’t really thought much about it I am just going through the motions so to speak. Did anyone else experience this kind of ravenous like eating before surgery or before their first appointment? I am thinking maybe its nerves and some anxiety about really getting closer to making up my mind about surgery. I know I am not the best when it comes to expressing my feelings so I think I am eating as a way to deal… What about you? Any changes in eating patterns as you got closer to surgery:unsure:?

I did go through that. I think a lot of bandsters would say that they did. It is the "last supper". I kept thinking that I would never be able to eat these things again, so I ate and ate and ate (I am sure you get the picture). I didn't get to do it long. I only had a few weeks between insurance approval the start of my preop diet. As a matter of fact, I had a planned "last supper" that I didn't get to eat because they moved my surgery up. You just have to remember that you will be able to eat most of those things again. Just not as much.
