Emotional Vomiting?

I've really hesitated in creating this post because it does sound crazy to me. I notice that if I'm extra emotional...fighting with the 18 year old, crying over something, just emotionally drained, etc. that my tendancy to not be able to keep my food down is heightened. Has anyone else experienced this?

It is well documented that STRESS causes added restriction....no doubt about it! So perhaps if you do some deep breathing or meditating, etc. before you take a meal it will help.

Immediate stress like fighting with someone also causes a release of adrenalin (fight or flight response) and the adrenalin can nauseate you.

yes, this happens to me too. I asked my family to not upset me at dinner. if they do, I run for the bathroom.

speak with them, and tell them how important food is for you.
