    Help

    I had a fill in the us .4cc, was too full, a nurse friend of mine took it out. put back .3cc and again .2cc I can't eat anthing! any ideas? this is been 2 days and sick of it.

    it was .4cc, and today I am much better. I can have a boast in the am, Soup for lunch, with tuna and melba toast, and dinner very small. snack later. I was at the gym tonight, and the grouse grind on suday, I was 1.21 minutes, (this is 2.9 km up the mountain and tram down). my time was slower than november (1.13) but it was my first time this year. I will stay with this fill, but it is my last one. thanks
  3. I'm having a hard time, with soup, croutons (lots) and cheese, should be healthy but around 800 caleries. I'm going to stop and go for a walk instead. I think you need more protien, and exercise. I too have a problem with late night eating, when I take my evening pills. I'm starting to have cheerios with skim milk instead, and thats helping. I don't want to gain any more the weight I have lost back. good luck
  4. I had my 4th fill, I have had a .06, .05.05. .04cc fill yesterday. I have the worst case of heart burn, I can eat warm soup but lost a glass of water today. am I too tight? its been 5 months since my last fill, and can't remember if it was this bad. any ideas?

    so sick

    I had a .4 cc fill in my band on tues. today is sunday, since then I have only keep Soup, (2x) rest came up, and cholate milk down. Water is fine. I have pain in my stomach when I try to eat. I have had 3 other fills my husband said it was the same before, but like having children you forget. I did pg this am with portage but keep the portage down. how long does this last. should I go for a slight unfill. I did try and eat reg mush food, and now am going on potien shakes. any ideas? I can't stand this anymore, I am cooking turkey dinner for 12 persons can't even eat it! p.s. before this fill I could eat my old plates of food again. and had no restruction at all.

    I am getting the same thing, when i go out they say you don't need to loose more weight. I work out everyday lost about 95 pounds, am 5' 5 1/2' tall. a size 8 from a size 22. I wish to loose 13 more pounds and then I will maintain. ever notice the comments come from people how need to loose a few?
  7. I lost around 90 pounds, exercise like crazy and eat fine. went on holiday 2 weeks ago, problem getting back to excersing. I am eating like before surgery, have to get back on the wagon. when I'm good the scale will only move 1-2 pounds every 4-5 weeks. it gets harder as you get closer to goal. thanks for the tips on calerios, and good luck to all. I go for a fill next week, I did not want to but I think it will get me back on tract. I have 1.7 cc in a 5cc band and will a .5 cc fill.

    I'm failing my band!

    you have done great 35 pounds that you would not have lost. do you keep track of what you eat (I don't but should, as my weight loss has stopped). do you excersie? I went away for 10 days and am now back on the program. I even started drinking again. I will never go back to what I was.
  9. 700 is way too low for weight loss, you have to eat and excersise and it will come off. remember the band is a tool, and this is a life journey. I had to get rid of my scale, I was weighing daily, now only once a week, and I just check my cloths to see the changes.
  10. The first 6 months weight comes off with exercise and diet. I'm into 11 months and only loose a pound a month now. I even gained 2 pounds but lost it before it got out of hand. I have to change my routine and mix up my workouts now. buts its a life change, and takes time. you have done really well.
  11. I have lost around 91 pounds, and will need a boob lift but tummy is ok, I work out 5 days a week, and legs are great better than when I was a teen. good luck

    How Much Did You Exercise PRE Band

    I did not do a thing pre-surgery. it gave me a boose, I work out 5 days a week now. I'm hoping I will not need surgery after for the loose skin, so far so good, and I'm toned. I would advise everyone who has this surgery to get off their butts, unless they want another surgery that will be painful to get rid of the fat folds. good luck, and the band really helps me I could not have done it without. its about 50/50% band and will power and you must I repeat must do a lifestle change!

    I go to the us. in arlington washington. but as of feb 1, there is a new clinic opening in white rock/south surrey, trained by dr kuri, and a RN. this will cut the border out, and save $ and time. :tt1:

    Weight/Height/Goal/Reason

    I started at 247, and weigh in thurs. proba about 160 pounds. I'm so happy with my results so far. the biggest is a plane seat, I can fit in coach great now. I also work out 5-6 days a week and can touch my toes, have a bath again, and shop in normal stores, size 10 now from a 22 size. life is great but its a constant effort to eat right, and not snack at night. I'm really glad I got banded and would do it again in a heart beat.

    Silly question

    I would not worry about others. the larger you are the quicker loss for the start of program. you should loose 1-2 pounds per week on average. this will give your body time to adjust. I think this is a must, as I don't want all the loose skin that comes with quick weight loss, and don't want any surgery other than a boob lift. working out will have more weight but its better than fat.
  22. I would go ahead for one or 2. I used to drink lots of red wine. now I don't. but in the last 8 months 3 times i have had a few drinks, but am really carefull of calaries.

    Those bandsters that exercise regularly..

    I had surgery feb 28/08 I started walking 4 kms daily for about a week. started too soon. waited a week, and continued. then joined a gym with trainer apr 1/08 I go about 5 days per week. I feel great. before surgery I would not even walk to the mail box. I could not touch my toes, take a bath etc. now I hike, ride my bike, and go to the gym. I feel bad if I don't go. the band is the best thing to ever happen to me. I love it when I see people that have not seen me since surgery and don't know if its me or not.
  24. My trainer told me that the last 20 pounds could take a year to loose. the last 20 is the hardest. it took me one month to loose 2 pounds.

    Emotional Vomiting?

    yes, this happens to me too. I asked my family to not upset me at dinner. if they do, I run for the bathroom. speak with them, and tell them how important food is for you.
