Ready Set Banded 10/22/08!!!!!

Hello everyone......

I am so excited that I finally banded. I was banded on 10/22/08 by Dr. Benevides at the surgery center of Richardson. So far I have feeling good and everything is healing. I have enjoyed the ride so far and have 15 lbs. I am kind of getting a little scared because Sunday I can start eating the "soft mushy diet" and I am hoping that it will stay down. My mom was banded in March of 2003 and she has given me wonderful support, however she and her doctors have discovered that she has a very small esphogus and so she can not swallow everything so she is very limited in her diet. I am just praying that mine is normal. Anyway I look forward to chating with everyone.
