Hi...I am new to this site but have found it very interesting and usefull. I have a consultation with the dr next thursday 30th of october. I am looking forward to receiving more info on the band. This is a new clinic opening and I should be banded begining 09. I am very very nervous for the surgery....but look forward to loosing the weight for good this time :smile:....

Where in Canada do you live? I'm in Vancouver and out here there are only 2 surgeons that I know of. So if there's a new clinic, I'd love it to be here. I'm in the process of picking which one to do my consult with.

FYI: there is a canadian section on this forum in case you want to meet people in your area.

I live in New Brunswick (Moncton). There is only one dr performing this surgery and I had my name on a waiting list (5 Years). But I just found out there is a new clinic that opened about 3 hrs from here so my dr sent my referal and I have a consultation on the 30th I am sooo excited...I did not want to wait 5 years...I will have to try and find the canadian section on here :smile:...Thanks....
