just got banded

Hello Everyone,

It has taken me a whole year to make up my mind to be banded. After having other GI problems, losing some weight on my own and gaining it back, I decided that it was time to take control of my life. I was banded on 10/21/08. I also had a hiatal hernia repair-this was part of my problem with acid reflux. Today, I am sore in my abdominal area, but overall, I feel good. And I am ready to begin my new journey in weight loss!!!! pre-op I weighed 297lbs. Today, I'm at 290.3lbs.
