when should i take my surgical plasters off?

Hi everyone. I am 8 days post op and still have the same waterproof plasters covering my incisions (i have disolvable stitches).

When should i take these off or change them?

    I would think that if the plasters are still on after 8 weeks post-op, then call your Dr, and seek their advice. My plasters came off with in 2 weeks post op. So call.....

    Take them off asap. Clean the incisions with soap and water daily. They should have already been completely healed. IF not, you need to see your doctor--soon.

    I think its fine that you still have them on after 8 days. My doctor told me to wait until they started curling up on their own. I took them off a little before that because I wanted to see my incisions I think that was around day ten.
